looks good, build up pics would be nice, but i understand the time thing. Atleast some finish pics, as well as some results? That would be good too. Thinkin about considering a similar build as yours... Still in the paper stages though... Im sure i will be lookin to you for some info.

I don't recall. I just search Excursion parts and see what gets my attention. I see some LED tail lights that might look good on the baxk of the X

1st of the many thing I need to do this weekend is done.

Did my own Re-cones for the 1st time.

Here's what the new looks VS the old.

I wasn't feelin how the lugs came through the basket, I had a couple that came loose so I decided a little dress up and some locktite would solve the problem.

quick question, i got a 15 that is scratching it has 2 voice coils, would it be possible that one of the coils is no good and the other one is working properly, hence the scratching but it still sounds alright?

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The cleaning of the old cone was the worst part. It takes awhile to clean it.

You could run the other coil. Your power handleing will be 1/2 of what it was with the 2.

The scratching might wear away.... then again it may come loose and lock up the cone too.

well its currently the only sub i still own, as my others were so kindly removed from my possesion with out my consent... It doesnt sound bad, the scratching is constant just on certain notes... Its not quite what i was expecting from a 15 though, was expecting a little more, which leads me to think that one of the coils is gone. so it really is only pushing half the power its cabable of taking. does that make since?

There could be a couple of things going on with it.
