looks pretty good, thought i was trippin out for a second thinkin you added 2 more subs, im fairly sure its just a mirror though.

looks good though.
Yeah after seeing everyone try to cram their head in to see the box, i decided to add the mirror.

It's loud for sure, real loud. Even though I built it foe a daily and SQ I'm still hoping it will push over the 150db mark for SPL

Thanks!

I have 10 Badcap 800's in the back, 5 on each side. Plus 2 stockers under the hood. Then it has a 140 amp alt.

I'm planning on adding a second one and replacing the stock. both will be 400 amp alts.

I have plenty of room still to add more batteries if need be, we'll see how it is when I address the charging system.

Well this would be the post where I give ya'll some videos of the insane flex of the system but, thats not the case today.

Last night I got the system up and running, took the wife down to pick up a few new cd's to bump with, all was good, had a nice deep rumble to it.

Got a call from a buddy who said he wanted a demo, met over at a friends house then went out for a once around town. We got about 2 min into some good loud slumpin, not full tilt just enough to make the eyeballs bounce around a bit, and there it happend...... You know that smell, it's that all too familiar smell of death rollin out from the back of the truck

Yup, Locked up an MT real quick. Didn't even get 5 min out of it, hell didn't even get full tilt out of it.

So it's time too look at recones for the subs to hold me over until I decide what I can hammer with this amp.

the MT's were no match for the almighty Maxximus

I'm not too worried about it.

The MT's are a beefy sub but don't have a vent pole so they don't do well on music but can take gobs of power on a burp.

Most likely I'll Recone them and be nice to them until I get stronger more musical subs.

I didn't expect them to give up so quick though

No, he said it was used and was working great. He said he had bought it brand new, and never had any problems with it.
I got it it worked for maybe 2 min, at about 300 watts rms, and its a 1200 watts rms max sub. I wasnt driving it hard or anything like that. Quite aggervating, i just chalked it up to getin jacked on ebay, i filed 2 complaints 1 to get my money back and one stating that i was blatently lied to.

yea i know, i contacted the seller and told him what happened and he said i probably pushed way to much power to it or wired it wrong or something, cuz it was in perfect condition, i asked him to explain the soldered voicecoil, and he said that i was an effing idiot. That i was lying to get free money. the proceeded to tell me to take the sub and shove it up my... Yes I copied the whole thing and sent it to the nice people at ebay, with an explanation as to what happened. Hopefully i get my money back as i spent about120 all together on it.

Ok, time to pull the bad coils and get to cleaning for the new ones.

Here's the old coils.

A little dark and scratchy.

I can either recone them as RE brand subs or the Fi brand. I have calls into both, just waiting on who has the better deal.

Pics of carnage are always fun, unless its your carnage.
