f250harley06 is starting off with a positive reputation.
Won't Start

2004 F250 5.4 truck starts fine when the sun is shining .When it rains will not start. Let it sit for a few hours it starts with no problems. Need help

No crank at all just inst. cluster lights no hard turn over no sol. clicking return a few hours later starts right up

Does it have a PATS key? Could be a water leak from the windshield that is getting into the GEM module and shorting something out. Is anything else acting funny?
I'm not exactly sure if the GEM module is in the same place on the SD. Behind the fuse panel. Look for signs of rust or dampness in this area.

Truck runs great was recently hit from behind got back from body shop Dec 14th have had problem starting 3 times very basic truck power nothing .Body shop said bring it to dealer first time it didnt start they towed to shop said it had loose battery cable at starter and fixed few weeks later same problem just a very tight cable at starter no start

I dont know what the problem is but I'm curious cause a couple weeks ago after I took my truck up to the local car wash. I couldn't start the thing and from what you are saying it was doing the exact same thing.

Now mine started up about 5 minutes later but I still dont know what caused it but this is the second time it has happened since I got the truck new in '00

Its been at the stealer all day today they can not find a thing wrong with it they want it a second day run more tests
