Nite Ranger is starting off with a positive reputation.
replacement grilles

Anyone have experience installing a billet grille in a 99 Ranger? I posted this ? in the Ranger forum but got no response.
I bought a Stull billet grille but the instructions are not real clear just where I have to cut the Ford grille. I didn't find many 99 Rangers in the Gallery with different grilles either.
I guess I just need some up close pics of one installed to get an idea of just how much to cut out. I appreciate any help given.

I'd have to see a picture of your grille, but with a cut style grille you'll need remove anything that is near flush with the surface of the shell. Depending on if the billet mounts to the shell or some bit of the mesh makes a bit of difference on the install too. It's been a long time since I installed one on a ranger, but the concept is to make your grille a shell that accepts the billet and allows you bolt in together.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?
