I bought NEW injectors and a rebuilt Injection pump from Diesel care, and the injectors are still doing great. The pump, on the other hand, not so good. The pump they sent me was no good, and I had to send it back, then the next one they sent me, it shot fuel out, but the engine didn't seem to want to crank, It finallly cranked up and seemed to do good, but anytime it set all night, it was hard cranking. A month later, it was at Ford having the steering column rebuilt, and that pump went bad. I had the guy at the Ford place order me a rebuilt one from a pump shop he knew of that offered a one year warranty good at all Ford dealers, and I've been good ever since. Let me say, however, that the people at Diesel care are very nice people. They were always willing to work with me, and even though there policy is no money back, they even gave me a full refund when I explained that I just did not have time to wait on a another pump to be shipped in from them since I needed the truck. Very great people, i just would not trust their stuff.

I will second that quote from AndysFords. I had a very similar experiance with a Diesel Care pump. Every since I started using only MWFI parts. It helps that they are only a couple of hours from my house as well. Great group of guys up there.

Changing three injection pumps in a little over a month?
I won't think twice about spending double what Diesel Care wants for an IP.
My truck has to run every day.
It has to start every time I turn the key, even if the temp is 20 below.
There have not been very many times that it has let me down since 1986.
Most of those days were the result of a reman engine that I tried.
Fired right off at 2 degrees this morning.

FYI my rebuilts were other than the outer shell........ new. The pintle assy is brand new, only the body is used at least on mine. Even so the pressures did need to be matched for a good "set"....... A good matched set will be a max difference of 5 PSI only......
The injection pump I bought from Dieselcare is running fine. Once I got it running, (my fault it took so long) I've had no problems. I made 2 trips to Ohio. One the week of thanksgiving and one the week of Christmas. I've run petro Diesel, Biodiesel and SVO. The only changes I know they made is they used viton seals for the Biodiesel. I can't complain since I've had no problems.
