She will have the long drawn out breeder name. She is from champion stock. We are leaning towards calling her Shelby.

Yep she is a rotty. She will be our second, we recently lost ours of 10+ yrs. No matter what anyone says, they are fantastic family pets if raised properly. At least that's my opinion.

Sorry to hear about the loss - they're truly the greatest companions. I agree with you about raising them properly. Now I wanna dog!

Thank you. My wife was really worried about getting a rotty when we got our first. She changed her tune.

We camp alot and have been turned away from many a campsite because of the breed. I have always told people that don't like them come meet my rotty with an open mind and you will leave with a little different view.

It seems like people that like dogs have no problem with the breed.

I'll stop now cause I could go on for some time on this subject.

We used to have a rottie/german shepard and it was a great dog. Had to put him down cause he would not stay away from the porqupines.

I don't imagine porqupines are any too friendly. Seen a few squished on the highway.

Only 41/2 weeks till I can pick her up.
