this screw was caught by the auxillary filter magnet.........2005 f250 6.0

any idea where it comes from about to take it back to dealer is this common???




it's sheared off which is why it's so short.

That cannot be good. Hopefully you're still under warranty. I wonder if it just didn't get tight from the factory and vibration made it break off OR maybe it's production leftovers? How many miles?

89000 miles. it's my boss's truck i believe it has a extended warranty. actually i know it does. whew.........lol just wonder if it's common i guess.

there is only 4 bolts on the 60 block with a conical allen head. they are the bolts that connect the lifting points to the heads.
