Can you imagine the expression on the poor guy's face out in the paint shop when Mr. O'Meara came out to him and proposed the paint scheme???
Bobby - Especially given the materials and tools of the time. It ain't like American Chopper's Painter is gonna lay down a sweet pattern

A collection like that would be cool. I would really like to have one of each body style change. That is my goal.

Walford -

My best friend was born in Scotland and we have fun poking at each other's heritage. I copied the photo and sent it to him just now telling him I settled on a Paint Scheme for my '49.

The people who were selling all the N.O.S. sheetmetal were out of Little Dearborn Parts in Minneapolis .Spoke to them on the phone and the info about the parts was revealed .Have an invoice from them dated Feb.6 , 1973 for sheetmetal prices .Stamp on envelope 8 cents .Front fenders $65.00 , Fenders ext. $25.00 , rear fenders $55.00 .Sure wish I had purchased some of them . Thought you all would find this interesting .

Wow, looks like someone brought a trade-in on a real Ford! Won't get much for it, though, even if it does have custom paint...
