We all know Fords truck slogan Built Ford Tough which has been arounds since forever. But I still think Ford has the best slogan off them all. Chevy used to be like a rock an now its an American revolution I guess. Oh well I guess the trucks arnt like a rock no more who noes. An Dodge well who knows what gives there. There slogan doesnt turn me on at all. So what you guys think Fords Built Ford Tough is still alive well after many many years an the others well I dont know. Toyotas I have no clue what they are.

If a slogan is all that you look at when buying a product you need some serious help.

 

Ad slogans ~ Cars & Trucks

1908/1927: "Ford, the Universal Car." Over 25 million Model T's were built during this time frame.
Ford in the 1930's: "Watch the Fords go by."

Ford in the 1960's, 1970's: Quality is Job One.

Ad slogan ~ Trucks only.

1980's and up: "Built Ford Tough."

 

What about "Have you driven a Ford, lately"

Or here in Canada the Ford slogan is "Built for life in Canada"

Off the cuff, Smiggy...I can't remember all the slogans (at the spur of the moment), but here's what a Ford billboard ad said in the late 1930's.
The ad showed a Ford driving by, and two dogs, one a Scottie, the other a mutthead of some breed.

The supposition was that dogs chased cars.

The caption read: "No use Mac, it's a Ford V8."

 

What about that other slogan,

"If you haven't looked at FORD lately, Look Again"


Toyota - "We make it easy, easy on you"
Tudnra - "The truck that's changing it all"

 

Truck thats changing it all.... but dont use the tailgate... we havent quite changed that one yet

I was actually on a tundra forum (for mocking purposes only!) And saw one guy say he was going to buy a trailer for his quad because he didnt want to overload/ruin his bed. HAHAHA

I load two quads on my ranger and he needs a trailer to haul one with his fullsize

built ford tough is definetly the best cause it is what fords are, basically ford overkills everything thats on the truck no automaker actully makes a tuff'er truck chevy had to drop the "like a rock" slogan cause fords crush rocks.......well i think
