I'm going to hold on to my '05 for an undetermined amount of time. However, when I am ready I have every intention on buying a Ford Pickup. Overall I like the 09's. Nobody will like everything about every truck, but in my opinion Ford makes a very capable truck. When I buy my next F 150 (forth one), I will probably consider a diesel.

I'll keep my 06 F150 KR, it's been a great truck. I like the 09 style but not enough to take the financial hit, I'll wait until they been out a couple years. One thing is certain it will be another Ford.

Aberdale Farm is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My last new Ford ('92 F150 SWB 5.8L auto 4x4) performed for 16 years with minimal repairs and provided almost 200,000 miles of good looking, comfortable, service. That's why I bought a '06 F150 and justified spending $36,000 on a truck. I figured if this Ford could perform and look as good as my last one, I shouldn't need another new truck until 2022!

Ditto here. Not in the budget right now, I have to buy a lowered floor handicapped accessible van this year to replace my aging Windstar. Unfortunately, it will have to be a Chryler Town & Country or Dodge Grand Caravan because that's what they convert these days. A new truck after that.

2009 F150 might be in the future, but that will only happen when the 6.2L BOSS or diesel engine arrives. If not, then it will be 2010. I certainly like the new looks of the F150 (inside and out).

However, the new '09 Dodge 1500 is very impressive too! I like the styling and the technology behind it. A gas engine with impressive hp/torque numbers...and better fuel economy to boot. Coil springs in the rear...are interesting too. I really like the "RAM BOX" option...and that could be a deciding factor.

In order:

2009 or 2010 F150 6.2L BOSS or diesel
2010 F250 SuperDuty
2009 RAM 1500
2010 RAM 2500
2009/2010 Tundra

I am brand loyal...and FORD is first, but then again...who knows.

It depends on the price if I will get a 2010. I would feel better buying a Tundra to be honest, but I like the new F150 a lot better. If after a year or 2 gets GREAT reliablity reviews I will get one perhapse. I know one thing, I will NEVER buy a first year American car.

After all the ugly crap Ford put out in the 70's and early 80's they should have fired everyone who was involved with that stuff. How those cheesy vehicles ever made it into production is baffling. Say there is a guy left from 78' is NOT a good thing. I swear they same 70's interior designers must have been around up until the last few years. Finally Ford has gotten some new blood and started to make nice interiors.

Toyota is definilty a force in the truck wars an has made the Big 3 step up to the plate with quality an dependability which have improved dramatically.

the numbers will dictate whether or not my next truck will be an F150. traditionally, ford has dissapointed and trailed everyone in that department, so something tells me I'll be looking at a v10 F250/F350

I have purchased 23 new Ford vehicles since 1975. The only non Ford vehicle has been my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. I have been real pleased with the Jeep and the service at the local Dodge/Jeep dealer.
I will be keeping my 2001 F250 SD for a few more years. It has been a great truck. IF I were to buy a new truck I am pretty sure it would be the 2009 Dodge. I think they're the best looking and I like the multi displacment technology.
The '09 Ford 150 looks pretty good without the chrome grill, just think the Dodge looks better.
