Location of oil pressure port on front of 460 engine

I read somewhere that all 460 engines have ports on both the front and rear for measuring oil pressure or installing a sending unit. My sending unit is on the top rear of the engine, and I can't find a port on the front. Can somebody tell me where the front port is located or whether it even exists? The engine is in a 1990 E350 motorhome. I'm asking the question because I don't have any oil pressure at the rear port (verified with mechanical gauge), and I'm trying to figure out why.

I dont know of a front port. But I've read your other post and I suspect bad cam bearings or a blockage not allowing oil to the top. The thing is with the low miles you have on this both are hard to beleive. I also wonder if your distributor or the oil pump drive shaft are in good shape. Just a few ideas .
Good Luck Andy

Thanks for the info, Andy. I also find it hard to believe, and so does my mechanic, but he says the next step is to pull the engine and start taking it apart. I asked him to hold off a few days until I could get some responses. He says the pump driveshaft is good, and he took out the distributor and turned the driveshaft directly with an electric drill. Still no pressure. BTW, I'm sure of the low mileage because I'm the original owner. Thanks again, and if you think of anything else please let me know.

Will

Tioga 24, I know its not what you want to hear, but I would say your mechanic is right, the next step is to pull it out and take it apart.

wow if he ran it with a drill and theres still no pressure. But i didnt knock. Got me stumped. I work on vehicles everyday ase cert. dealer cert. So if nobody with ford dealer advice I would say its got to come apart. One last attemt put a quart of marvel mystery oil in the engine drive it like you stole it for a few miles. If that doent clear any blockage. Well it has to come out.

Sorry but good luck Andy
