spoke to "THE GUY"

spoke to the plumber with the oldie i spied in willowbrook yesterday. its a 51 m100 all original with the exception of 1 patch, 12v power, and tires. he's owned it for 16 years and plans to keep owning it for quite a while yet!! too bad, but he plates it in the summer so its not going to waste. sorry boys, i did what i could.

its a real nice gem, hopefully he restores it or something. i know he hasn't much coin to throw around, but it'd be good to get it perky now while its still in good shape!!!

Thanks, it`s great that you checked into it for us but what year is it?
If it`s a 51 it will be an F1, the F100`s didn`t start till 53, which I think you mentioned before.
Sounds like it has a fairly good home, it`s real good that he doesn`t drive it in the winter.

A '51 M1 would be sweet. I really like the look of those trucks.

I was watching Holmes on Holmes recently and one of his eavetrough contractors was driving what looked like a flat black early 50 F100. Mike was commenting on how neat his truck was for work.

that would be a sweet summer work truck. a framer here has an early 70's international truck with a flatdeck that he uses...looks pretty sharp if i must say...
