Guys, not guy.

Originally it was the Tom Barrett Auction, now it's B-J = Tom Barrett & Chris Jackson.

I don't know Jackson's history, but Tom Barrett has been a major collector of Classic Cars (Duesenbergs, Packards, etc) in the Scottsdale AZ area since the 1960's.

LOL...I remember when these cars could be bought for 500 bucks...or less!

By the way...the terms Muscle Car & Pony Car have become muddled over the last 20 years or so.

Originally

Muscle Car = Midsized car: Torino / Olds 442 / Challenger / Montego, etc with a large full sized passenger car engine.

First Muscle Car: 1964 Pontiac GTO 389. The 389 engine came from the full sized Pontiac Catalina.

The GTO itself was initially an upscale Pontiac Tempest model.

Pony Car: The term is derived from the Mustang and refers to it and its competition: Cougar / Camaro / Trans-Am / Barracuda / Javelin / AMX, etc.

I passed on a celebrity owned 1956 300 SL Gullwing in the 1960's. The car was for sale in West LA for $4,000.00. Oh well...

Canadian Pontiac: Parisienne.

I don't know why not. Maybe you have to be one of the cool kids. I use Photobucket for posting my pics.

I used Photobucket to host pics of my stang.

The original owner? Very cool! Incidentally, make sure you get any documentation that confirms the ownership papertrail, dealer invoices, factory options lists, etc. Nowadays I am seeing that any supporting documents make the car more valuable versus cars that don't have such documentation.
