Axleless Rear Suspension Trucks
Morning all -
Just joined in hopes of finding some more information on the axleless trucks and trailers that I came across over the internet: http://www.dallassmithcorp.com.
I first saw this low floor application in Ford's booth at the 2007 SEMA auto show in Las Vegas on a Ford F-450 Super Duty Diesel which displayed an incredible bed that you could lower to ground and use the tailgate for a ramp. They strapped in a Harley Davidson to show as an example. But anyways I own a company which deals with reasonably small and light weight product that seems could benefit from having 30% more cargo area for transport... Does anyone out there know more about or currently use any of Dallas Smith Corp.'s axleless trucks & trailers???
Cheers -

So what I'm getting from this is you take the rear end of the truck out and throw it away and drive on the front 4x4 axle. How is the front at speed? I don't know if you're supposed to run them up around 70 or 75 miles an hour. Maybe it's just for show. And you need a trailer to trailer the truck and the motorcycle. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
