I read that as well, but they are still on the lot, and the 08 Titans are better than the first 4 years of Titans. If I can get a new one, I would like to do that.

I love my Fords, but if I can't afford it, I can't afford it. I don't have to have new. If I could find a 'used' 08, or low mileage 07, that would be great. But it seems like the prices are the same as a 'new' 08 by the time you take into account the discounts and incentives, still expensive.

I don't know that the Titan's are superior to Ford, but if I can't get into a Ford, then Nissan is my next choice. The Titan's are nice, and I have driven the Toyota Tundra as well. Not my cup of tea.

I started this thread hoping to be told the new 09 F-150's would be out in April, which would have been perfect for me as my lease on the F-250 is due April 21st, and the incentives would have been phenomenal on the 08's, making it possible for me to get into a new 08 at a great price.

I'd like to still be driving a Ford in May, I don't want to buy/drive another make, but I will if it comes down to several thousand dollars difference in purchase price.

Thanks for the reply's.

I am a die-hard fan, but I won't go bankrupt buying a vehicle. I've driven a Ford Pickup since I was 15 yrs old, and done most of the maintenace/modifications on them myself.

I didn't mean for this to turn sour.

Good. I was hoping I didn't overlook something that made the nissan that much better than the ford.

I don't see how you could afford a nissan and not a ford though. I got my 06 in January of 07. It had a sticker around 29000 and I got it out the door around 22k. My buddy waited until june and got a comparably equipped 07 for a similar price. It does not have all the options but it is a very capable, comfortable truck. For a fullsize 4x4 with a v8 and towing package I don't see how you can possible complain about this. This is in the price range of most entry-level sedans.

Again I encourage you to buy what you feel is the best truck. I know I was intimidated by the nearly 30k sticker of my truck but once you sit down and deal you'll be surprised how much they drop the price in their first offer.
