Installed the OBA and still get the service engine light

I bought an overboost annihilator from DP-tuner when I got my tune and I still get the overboost code everytime I hold it WOT a few seconds. Should I just turn the dial a click to the right? I heard they were factory calibrated so I hated to touch it.

Also, my boost gauge is hooked where the AIH was, is that a good place?

Is the flow going in the correct direction? there should be a flow direction stamped on the OBA.
AIH delete is a great place to install your boost guage.

It was pre-assembled from ITP and I installed it exactly as the instructions stated, short hose goes to the MAP, long hose to the spider. I'll look for the arrow, I guess the arrow should point toward the MAP?

I get a SES light at WOT pulling a hill, especially dragging a camp trailer , but i have always figured it was my HPOP not keeping up with 60 hp tune..programmer.. Is that right? My boost gauge never goes past 20 lbs. (the SES light always goes off when letting off on the throttle after a short time.)

AIH delete is a good place to hook up the boost reference. I get the SES light after a WOT run in just about every tune now, except stock and 60 tow, which I believe is from the HPOP not being able to keep up(P1211???) I have no code reader so I'm only guessing on the codes right now.

You've got it hooked up correctly, short hose to the MAP sensor, that's the direction the arrow points, too.

im betting its your HPOP not keeping up...best way to tell is to have the codes scanned

do you have your red wastegate line disconnected?

yes the wastegate line was disconnected, I'll read the codes today, the light stayed on till I shut the truck off, it peaked at 27psi, probably due to my leaky up-pipes.

reconnect your wastegeat line and im betting the code disappears

i disconnect mine from time to time and the last time, about 2 weeks ago, was the first time with the dp and the OBA. I was surprised to see the SES light so much with the OBA. Once the wastegate was reconnected, it went away just like normal. I cant logically explain why this would be doing it, anyone want to give it a shot?

no, nothing will happen

it is just a warning that your HPOP cannot keep up with the oil your injectors are demanding

Does it stay on or just stay lit for a few minutes, then turn off?
