Steering dampener shock recommendation

Can anybody recommend a good steering dampener shock? The suspension is bone stock except for a few energy suspension bushings. No lift, no big tires, nothing special. Just tired of buying the motorcraft one that lasts a year and a half.

Thanks,

2fitty,
I've had the Fabtech for almost a year, and I love 'em.
Front end is rock solid, even with the toyhauler behind.
Not too many $, quick, easy, and so far, so good.

Instead of going with a FORD OEM...I decided to go with a replacement from Monroe. The reason I did not go with one from Skyjacker, Rough Country, Rancho, Rize, etc. is because I wanted a OEM look.

OBTW: I am all OEM stock regarding tires and suspension

I went with Procom(p)?. It was about $50.00. mounted right on to stock location. Also seems to help with the "Death Roll" that occurs with these big trucks...

anymore updates on the stabilizer bars?
It sounds like people are having good luck w/ OE type replacements.

I'm finding by others that a 4 shock replacement and stabilizer bar is curing many death wobble victims. I'm hoping for the same !

any idea if you can add a steering dampener to a 04 f 250 diesel? for some reason mine was ordered without one. i think it would help with steering jostles of the rough roads

I believe you can no problem, you would just be looking at a more intensive install with more hardware due to not having one from the factory. But that would make me guess you already have the mounting points possibly.

One of the veterans will hopefully fix you up with the right info so we can both learn !

I was poking around online today and some places have kits available that ask you if you need hardware for a truck with out factory stabilizer or without....so i'm guessing you can add them.
I did the online chat thingy with Rough Country today and they were very helpful.

4 Bilstein HD's and a Rough country dual stabilizer on the way ! ! ! WOO HOO
