I'm from up that way too....sort of. I was living in falling waters until about 4 months ago, now I'm living in cumberland, MD which is right across the river from wv, so I'm still in the eastern panhandle.
I finally got a chance to respond. Thanks to everyone for the welcome. Hey Archion, you're pretty close to me. I go thru your area every day on my way to work. Do you spend any time on the river? We're there almost every weekend in the summer. We put in at dam 4, but I'm trying to buy a key to the campground right there in the "s" turn on route 11, they have a private boat ramp and it would be alot closer.
Never been down to the river, just got through the first year here. My neighbor has a lot at River Bend He is trying to sell. I'm right off rt. 11, about a mile from the MD line. And no, not in the new development, that damn place killed our appraisal...

My buddy has a river lot close to dam 4. We try to fish the stretch from the old bridge thats almost halfway between the dam and the state line to the dam a good bit in the summer
