Can anyone else back this up or was it a one time mix-up?

Just make sure to use a filter that has zero SCA content. The SCA does not work well with the Gold coolant and can turn the PH neutral coolant into a high PH coolant which will start to destroy parts.

I sent Bill an email regarding this and his answer was to not believe everything you read on the forums! He has since switched to the Baldwin B5134 filters but still swears there is nothing wrong with the ones he sent me. Not only did I pay over $30 more for the same kit that Dieselsite offers, but I now have $30 worth of filters that are useless to me.

No more Dfuser purchases for me!
