7.3 cylinder numbers?

Does anyone know the cylinder numbers on the 7.3 diesel? My buddy has a 2000 f-250 and on the diagnostic it said 2 and 4 injectors were bad we changed out number 2 and there was no difference and we want to check and see if we changed the right one. My other question is if one injecter is bad will it run like it only has 4 cylinders running? I know nothing about diesels and am learning as I go. My thought proccess is that maybe because we have one bad injector that entire side is not working properly.
