I have a 1979 with a 429, does your engine have a smog unit? My truck was being driven by the seller when the water pump went out and when the truck arrived it was missing the smog bracket and I am trying to see what it looks like.
Thanks

Hey just wanted to say that I think you have a really cool build going on and I am jealous I built a 79 F150 to look like a 79 F600 but I would of much rather started with a 4x4 F600 and modified it. My fenders have some rot but I am saving up to buy new fenders for my truck from a autobody parts supplier that a member of this site was able to find for me. I removed the bottom part of the fender for ground clearance reasons.

Those fenders look really good on a pick-up. if I hadn't seen them I would have thought they would look out of place, But with that lift and tire size, they work well, I wonder if a guy could graft those wheel openings onto the rear as well?Hmmm....

Thank you

Bill:
By giving me the part number I was able to locate the part at Vintage Parts, Inc.
I now have the correct part and all I need now is for the weather to cooperate!
Thanks!!!

That does look fricking cool. I'd like to see more pics of that also. And like someone else said, It would be really cool to graft something in the rear to match.

Well I really was not looking to hijack this thread but I do in fact have a bunch of other shots of my truck and am still working on it so I will be continuing to add photos to my gallery. Ohh and just so everyone knows I am looking for original steel flareside (stepside) fenders to graft onto my bed, I just don't want to put any fiberglass junk on my truck. So feel free to check my photo gallery out and here is a couple other shots to really wet your appetite.
