I guess I got lucky and missed all that.

I dont know if I'm allowed to say this in here....but I'm trying to get a newsletter going for MB to send out info on specials/sales/new items.

You can just go to the homepage (www.modbargains.com) and click on the link on the top right of the page.

Thanks guys!

Fat chance of that happening.

On Edit: AND 25 bucks to park (if you can find a spot).
I've been priced out of the pro sports market for some time now...Fenway Park has some of the most expensive seats around...due to the success of the team and the limited seating capacity. A buddy of mine won the right to purchase Green Monster tickets for a Yankmees game a few years ago...I think it was the first year they had the seats. He paid $180 each for 4 and resold them for $1800...EACH...paid for a very nice 56" HD TV...and the remaining balance on his Super Duty. Most of the parking around Fenway is private and can range upwards of $100 for a prime game!!!

When Dodger Stadium opened, there were EXACTLY 7 water fountains in the entire stadium! Walter O'Malley didn't want ppl to drink water, it cost HIM money!

Parking was FREE.

When the Angels played at Dodger Stadium (they called it Chavez Ravine), "Cheapskate" O'Malley nickeled and dimed Gene Autry to death, even charging him for half a roll of toilet paper!

Don't ask me how I can remember all this worthless, trivia, because I can't remember!
Bill...thanks for the history lesson...my mother grew up watching the Bums...she lived in Brooklyn. I remember the stories she used to tell...and the heart break she felt when they moved to LA...even though she had moved to Massachusetts in 1947!!! After the move she adopted the Mets as her favorite team.

What was the original name of the Brooklyn Dodgers?

The Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers.
