I'm going to be at the live reveal of the F-150 tomorrow and will be posting the full-size pictures tonight when they go live from Ford. Be all patient. We will reicive nothing but, new face and new dash. Same as they did with the superduty. Just to make people think ford launch a new redesing f 150. There will no be new diesel and probably now new 6.2 or 6 speed tranny. I wish I am wrong!

Chaparro have you read anything that anyone wrote about the 09 F-150 in the last two days??? The truck is almost completely redesigned, it has a 6 speed tranny, and is said to get the 6.2L, ecoboost and diesel in 2010 my so mid 2009. What are you saying same as the Superduty?? The superduty was completey redesigned has a new engine, new interior and front clip, new features.

Ok what I'm trying to say is that by 09 there will not be new gas or diesel engines. Significant improvment in hp/tq maybe. Only minor changes. To me, a real redesign is a change like between 96-03 f 150 and 04-08 f 150. I belive a real new truck should include different body, new engines, tranny, hp/tq, (Oh and PAYLOAD and TOWING CAPACITY.) Why not MPG, where ford needs a huge improvment. On my previous truck a 99 f 250 5.4 I spent 100-120 dlls the most on gas per week. I traded for an 08 6.4 and use it the same. My God filling 200 dlls. per week.It is insane. There is nothing I can do now. Dealer told me that I was going to spend less in this new truck then the previous. Any way. I love my new truck and basicly I think it is almost the same to the previous truck. Only differences I find is the diesel 6.4 engine, the front of the truck, dashboard and other minor changes. I dont see a real redesign f 250. the body in the 08 is the same to the previous model. Only my opinion.
