The rumour was that the front ends were going to look much like the latest Expedition.
I hope they stick to the plan and come out with some impressive drivetrains becuase that is the ONLY thing that would get me into a 09. ( and I am in the market later this year or early 09 )

i don't like the grill or the lights, the grill it looks like it would be a mercury, reminds me of the mountaineer, and i do not like the way the front lights dip down for the turn signal.
plus another thing with the grill which i don't like, along with the superduty, is how it goes so high up to be even with the hood line. it would probably look better painted the body color and remove those ridiculous looking grill inserts.

That fat grille surround is just awful....mebbe it would look better if painted body color.
Once past the front end, the 2009 F150 looks just like a 2004.

No comparison, the Ram wins hands down.
JMO: Last sharp looking F150 = 1992/96.

I would have to say that, That grille is ugly yes.... but the other ones are freakin awesome! I would have to say looking at other pictures of the 150, this is the best looking ford out there since the 90's. I hope Toyota is *****ting themselves right now, Because they should just bend over right now, that 150 is gonna kick Arse!!!

Besides the front fasia and taillights, it's still the same truck. The only thing Toyota should be worried about is someone coming out with an uglier looking truck. By the looks of things it's gonna be a tight race between GM, Ford and Toyota.

Ford, GM, and Dodge don't have to worry about the Tundra outselling them anytime soon.
Toyota only has the plant capacity to build 300,000 Tundra's a year, far less than the Big 3 can build.

well I did just get back from xmas a little over a week ago.. I still love my 95 Dually it is still my favorite body style... But I still think its an awesome looking truck..traditional Ford. I guess I more conservative when it comes to car design which is maybe why I would never own a titan/tundra. Not saying there bad trucks its just their styling is a little to "wild" for my tastes.
As far as the Ram is concerned Not bad looking. Personally not my taste either I like the current looking one better. Although I do think the Hemi and storage space above the glove compartment and on the bed is a neat idea. I'm sure it'll be a hit also.
But like I sayed before everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to voice them. But I say the NEXT F150 is a hit. and Ford did a good job. Kudos to Ford. But this is also coming from a guy who loves the looks of the new Silverado and Superduty. so maybe i'm a little out there..
but you don't have much room to talk you bought a Titan for crying out loud
