Not bad but nothing really different. I think I like the slightly older ones better.

IMHO, the Dodge is handsome truck. And the Ford is tending towards conservative designs. They have been that way since 1980. So, they aren't out of character. The staid looks of the new Ford will always go a long way for models to look good years later. The Dodge does have new ideas, and features that the rest will only wish they had thought of first. But those features are only good if you want them. It'll probably sell better than the current body style. But then again maybe not. The truck market is shrinking, and entry level cars are becoming popular in the marketplace. The high content mini cars are only an example. Maybe, there should be a high content mini truck again? Market is shrinking there as well, or so they say. My guess is that the Toyota is here to stay. The GM products are going to loose some sales again. As will Ford. And Dodge will gain a few. Nissan? Anyone's guess. Will they keep on building a looser?

The grill is too much bling for me. Hopefully the FX4's are better.

I'm not crazy about the really flashy grill, but the regular ones look great IMO. I think the whole truck looks sharp as heck, but I've always liked Ford styling. (It's the main thing that keeps me in a Ford)

However they better have all the new goodies in it like the 6 speed auto and more powerful engines. Heck, the engine under the HEMI for the Ram (4.7?) makes more HP and almost as much torque as the 5.4.

Looks like they "borrowed" the design from the Sport Trac somewhat..

Also flip the taillights on the Sport Trac over and voila!
