Found this on the e boss 6.2

The engine looks promising, don't think I care for the multi cylinder displacement though!!!

I want the 777 in my truck lol. The boss sounds like ford did a good job on that motor, Truck versions will have only 2 valve per cylinders? Kinda outdated, but future performace apps will be quad cam and 4 valves! Veady nice. Cross drilled main caps, wow im sold! Also correct me if im wrong........ Twin turbos?? WOW!

I have to ask why you wouldn't want that?

Ya I was looking forward to some big numbers in the hp category!!!

As for not caring much for MSD, from what I have seen It sure is not making the Chevy and Dodges any better on fuel!!

I think MSD is just another reason to jack the price up on the motor, as well as more to go wrong. That 6.2 doesnt sound like a dream, did the 6.1 hemi sound like a dream also? I think that 777 Motor would be even more far fetched because thats way to much hp for the average person to handle especially in a mustang. Roush has one in a mustang that runs 10-11 Sec. In the quarter. Ford has to do something to compete, SO heres to lookin up!

I dont think the 6.2 is a dream, but for the life of me I cant understand why ford didn't get it done in time for the '09

Not enough R and D time. Look what happens when you rush something (Cough Cough 6.4 Cough) Id rather have them get it rite, then offer it in 10!

Oh I'm with you 100% on that, but they could have said there is going to be a 6.2 in 10, that would have keep people from thinking about another truck and wait for the 6.2 to come out.

ford already has cylinder deactivation.....read your 5.4 owners manual and thats what happens when you loose all your coolant and your truck goes into limp mode, it deactivates two cylinders and uses them as an air pump instead......
