6.2 is dead.

Ford has shelved the plans for a 6.2 liter gas engine in favor of three engine choices for two thousand nine...They are the 4.6 2valve, the 4.6 three valve and the 5.4 three valve topping out the line up. For two thousand ten they plane to add two more engines...The diesel that every body knows that they are working on and a new direct injection gas engine termed the Eco-boost. The ecoboost engines priority will not be huge horspower but 30% fuel economy increase. This policy shift at Ford is a response to the New mandated fuel economy guidline set forth by congress.
I have the inside scoop.
