When you get back on skis, let us know how you make out!

You guy's will have to check out the new ski hill here in Revelstoke.Only thirtytwo people have required search and rescue, and one death since opening day in December.I havn't been up there yet,but everyone say's it's really good.
Definitely on my list, Sedly. Over Xmas I was talking to my parents about where they might like to travel. My mom was naming off places like Australia or Europe, and my dad says, 'Revelstoke!' b/c of the new hill. He's friggin' hardcore.

I have a acquaintance that is a high performance skier , mountain biked with her a bit. Alisha Kline, one very fast lady on a MB or on ski's. Set the womans speed skiing record when it was a Olympic demonstration sport. Doe's X Games now, more fun she says. I made a *** of myself one day, asked her how good she was compared to formal skiers ( just knew her as a X Games skier ) she said "Oh we have some top speed skiers here and I beat them. " Oh my.. did I feel the fool when I looked up her record!

Yeah, there's a guy I work with, his son and three friend's went missing for a day and a half,he's expecting a search and rescue bill anywhere from $8,000-$15,000.He said it's an expensive lesson to learn, and the main thin the kid's are o.k.(teenagers)The ski hill has put up alot more barricades since opening day.But for some people 4000 acres of ski hill just aint enough.

My "borrowed" boots dont fit and with the clear cold temps we have had, there is too much ice for my liking. I want my first fall to be on powder, not packed... It suppose to snow this weekend.
