I know what you mean. I've been a listener to KY since '77 when my family moved back the KC area from Salina.

By the way, you link to the story about 102.1 changing formats...10 years ago.

I didn't cacth the year. Ironic they fired them all on a Thursday again. That's why I didn't notice it.

I miss listening to The Rock 98.9. Are they still a heavy rock station?

Yes they are.

Does anyone remember Z-Rock? It was a station in TX that was sindicated for a while in the early 90's. They played Metal.

Nope, but I do like XMLM and the Squizz on XM radio.
