First step towards freedom!
I picked up my first 20 gallons of wvo today. I managed to get connected with a Thai restaurant so the oil should be pretty good to start with. I'm going to collect 50 gallons before I start to filter/de-water.
I'm wondering if any of you use a centrifuge to filter/de-water. I was hoping to go this route becuase it seems quicker then using filter socks and then heating and cooling cycles to de water.
Most specificly I'm looking at a setup using the dieselcraft centrifuge.

I was looking at something like this yesterday afternoon:

Not too trilled with the price, but it does fit the frame of mind I have about what how I want to filter the wvo at the house. I would be happy if I could come up with some filters (enclosed/spin on) that allow step filtering...200 micron over the first drum, heat & settle the oil, pump it through a 50 micron filter, leading to a 10 then 1 micron before oil goes to the holding tank. Another pump (with meter) would push it through a nozzle and into the tank on the truck. Figuring I need another 1 micron between the tank and the motor to catch what ever might get into the tank during fueling.
