Chevy Got Stuck, F350 To Rescue

My x-gf's brother just called me and asked to get pulled out. Here is some pics. His truck: 90 GMC 1500 4x4 5 Speed with 285/75/16 MT's.
My truck: Read the SIG!!
When I found him:

Once we got 2 the road after me pulling him a mile or so through the mud from the other end of the field.

Here are pics of my truck on the road after.

Now I got to wash it. That kid owes me now. I wish I had video of pullin him for like 5 min out of the field.

Make him pay to get it washed. That's a mess. Nothing like pulling stuck chevy's out of the mud!

Yea, I should, Girl he was with was like I dont like to see Fords pullin chevys out. I said if she dated a kid with a Ford she wouldnt have to get pulled out. Friend was like damn you lol. Yea KING OF THE CORN FIELD. That field was hard for my truck, it was so sloppy, and that I had to pull him all the way out, chain came undone like 3 times so I had to stop and back up to get him lol.

ya done the pulling wrong!!!

the proper way to pull a chevy out is to stick it back into 2 wheel drive while still hooked up and moving and floor it, throwing mud roostertails all over the towed chevy, then stick the t-case back into 4X4 and keep on pulling.

That mud must not have been very sticky... up in ND when I had those tires (hummer) they would get caked up like his were in about 30 seconds. I would bet him getting stuck had to do with his tires, well and the fact that it was a chevy of course.

That field was super sloppy, wasnt really thinkin about throwin it into 2wd, and even in 4 i was spinnin and throwin on the truck, if you keep the tires spinning fast enough they clean out. He has nice MT's but I guess the chevy couldnt handle it.

Although I like your response, personally, I'd have said "We'll, I certainly don't want to disapoint a lady" and packed up my chains and drove off.

Go, get something to eat, putz around for a while, and go back in a couple hours to see how they're doing. Then she'll love to see your FORD.

I know what you mean about wheelspin, but the mud is just really different (3000 miles apart...) I had 320 HP and 3.55's so they spun pretty fast. I had the rev limit pill at 6200 RPM's to keep it from winding till it blew.

well, i have been known to do that a time or five with the 88 while pulling people out, just to show them the superiority of a ford diesel over the other "better" off road vehicles.

Just tickles me to see this thread , good thing he didn't call a friend that owns a Dodge first, you would have 2 trucks to yank out,, lol.
