Accessory Grill Cover

I just called and a very polite young man by the name of Mario said he checked my vin and it did not come with my truck. He said they are vin specific, much like the Job 3. sheet states. So if I drive in the snow, and live in GA, I just don't need it. Logic, pure FORD logic. (i.e. the call was to Ford Cusotmer Relationship Center at 1-800-392-3673)

I was mainly interested in the grill cover after on the way back from a snowmobile trip, I was greeted by a (check air filter) on my dash. I was not too surprised because of other posts on this site. My air filter was also packed with snow and ice. No one offered to replace my filter. My truck had 10000 mi. on it. Don't be misled, I like this truck very much. I really believe Ford needs to re-engineer the air intake and possibly retrofit existing 2008 superduty trucks. I have been led to believe the GM Duramax has a similar problem and rumor has it GM is working on a fix.

Actually I havent had the problem of ice in the air filter as I have not yet driven mine when it was snowing. With that said I did tell my dealership of my concern. They ordered my a grill cover "no charge" and said "shouldnt be a concern anymore". A big thank you goes to my dealership!!!!!!!
