Yeah I didn't have my glasses on last night and thought it was a shortbed from the angle lol. My eyes get really bad during the school semester because they adjust to my glasses and I never wear them otherwise.

Well I filled it up today after my 150 mile trip yesterday and got 16mpgs it was a lot of mixed driving and I am happy with that.

Also talked with my uncle today who owns the dipping shop and we are meeting up Monday to pick out patterns and lay it all out

Hey man, if you like those wheels then that's cool. We do what we want to our trucks no matter what anyone else thinks....I'm sure there are people that don't like some things about my truck.

Those wheels are just way to big for my tastes.

Fastback460, not sure if you were the one that just posted a bunch of vomit faces or not but, you're right. I just find it funny how you and some others find the need to tell me it's not for you. what am I suppose to say..."good deal" or " oh that's great news, thank you for telling me your opinion on my truck".... You don't hear me posting to everyone "hey man that truck looks nice but man those wheels and tires are way to small. Looks ridiculous".

No offense to you personally. Just something funny I see. And my view is oddly enough still the same. I don't care. I never have cared what anyone thought of what I do. If I did I wouldn't be the person I am today. But thank you for your opinion.

When you do something out of the ordinary you've got to be prepared for the comments. Just human nature. When you do something way out of the ordinary, and those wheels are, you've got to go put on your thick leather skin. The more different something is the more polarized people will be and the more likely they are to comment. Like I said, it's just human nature.

I'm not offended and I hope you are not either.

Normally I wouldn't say anything if I didn't like it...But I have never seen anything like that before on these trucks....It's definitely original.

I did by saying I don't care. lol. But I figured since it was brought up again I would define why I just said I don't care.

Very true. Best mileage I have gotten out of this particular truck was 22mpg all highway. In my 92 flareside I got 24 on the highway regularly.

No not the whole truck. Just bits and pieces here and there to give it some camo touches. And help it stand out a little. Plus I love camo, but don't want too much

you wise guy lol.
he drives a 300-6 truck.you drive one with 2 more cylinders, another 160 cubic inches, and an engine more famous for it's poor fuel economy than it's power.

whats harder to believe? him getting 16 mpg or you getting just 3 mpg less?

(i know.i know.his is combined and yours is an all hwy report.it's all just tongue in cheek fun.)

It is if your rear tank leaks into the front. I don't know if his rear tank works but I got 16 off my front and 11 off the rear when I checked. I wondered why then a while later i went to put 5 gal in the front and it shut the pump off so I thought my tank neck was defective. Nope the tank was just full from the rear seeping into the front over time. I don't use it as much bc the Front tank guage doesnt work so I couldn't tell by that
