Don't get me wrong I love the OBSs. I really do. That said I am and have been a fan of the super duties. The 08 is a beautiful truck. I love the interior on that model and the looks. If I had the $$$ to buy one I would but for now I am rocking the camry and the F350 my dad left behind. Both are paid off with low miles (camry with 46K and F350 with 98K respectively) so I am not in a hurry to get into a car payment. You get a diesel by chance? I know the 7.3 and 7.1 are legendary but the 6.0 and the other aren't bad at all. I will be sticking with gas model OBSs simply for the fact I don't know jack ***** about diesels and the OBS steel blocks and heads are much more forgiving then the triton series engine.

Another annoying example of Ford "repurposing" a name. I had an '85 "Explorer" (it was an F-250 with an Explorer trim package). And if it'd been a few years older the mid-level trim package it had would've been called "Ranger" instead of "XL". At least it's not as bad as Honda with the Odyssey changing from a go-kart into a minivan!

It's geared for 35's, the revs are high with 33's, besides, it'll still be better than the 8 mpg I get in the 79
