Thanks guys. I plan to run it like this for a while once it is together then add headers, dual exhaust, electric fan, trick flow 170cc heads, some 4.56 or 4.10 gears, and 1.7 roller rockers.
First got to take care of some of the other things like stereo, speedometer fixed, brush guard installed, and fix the drivers door pins.
Dad also got that dent you see in the lower part of the bed out on my 88.
It sucks that I will be driving the GMC for a week or two till I get paid for a few more things (thermostat and fluids.)

My new girl!
Hi, new to the forum. I sold my much loved 2003 eddie bauer expedition last year because I felt she was too nice to only use occasionally for antiquing trips. Yesterday I bought this beauty, and I don't know much about her. 182k miles, runs smooth and strong.
I've named her Pilar. First vehicle I have ever named

By the way, the simplest seat swap is to get another front seat out of either another SuperCab truck or a Bronco. The regular cab and crew cab seats don't fit in as easily.
edit: I guess FORDF250HDXLT types faster than me

Thanks! I was looking into captains chairs but now reading these threads I realize that is pretty ambitious. So I'll be looking for a bronco bench with the center console. I did try and figure out what cab and thought super meant 4 doors. I am not at all a chevy truck gal so will not make that mistake again
