Yup!! I had to space the bumper out and up a bit to clear the 35's when turning, but they fit fine for the most part. I did drive the front tires back into the fenders while playing on the powerlines, but am going to put a bodylift in this spring to cure that issue

And they plow awesome!! I go slow and that's where the 4.9 makes its grunt. Only trouble I had was the lightweight flareside bed, but before the lift I had 31's and chains on the rear, with a 500 pound snowsled in back, and could push the banks back for miles, it seemed! But with the clearance and 35's it plows really nice now, but I do it in lo-range, usually 2nd gear, because of the big tires and 3.55s. My buddy with a dodge 318 hasta give his a little more gas to get going, which leads to more spinning and less pushing, but his tires aren't great, either. But his plow truck is a 3/4 ton, so he has a weight advantage, and I just ease out the clutch on mine and give 'er a little fuel and away we go.

In fact my old 84 with a 300-6 plowed awesome, too.

Actually, a lot of "plow truck" only trucks, not fit for the road, are old early 80's F-150s with a 300-6 and a bed full of firewood around here, so people definately like 'em!

Hey I just want to give you a heads up... Im not sure if you know the lift laws in Maine... I got a Jeep I was going to lift and put 33's on. There is a max of 30" frame height on heavy trucks and gets lower by gvwr. Also you can only go up 2 tire sizes.

But i do want to ask is that an 8 ft? I want to put a plow on mine but im worryed about busting up the frontend. I have a 88 GM 3500 that sags like a mother with the 8ft quickswitch... I know the MM is lighter but not sure which size to go...

Thanks Bill. I'm little biased of the Eddie B's but beautiful Flaresides like your's come in a close second. Hell I just plain love all our old trucks.

Aside from the Exhaust and a K&N cold air intake shes stock. And yes its my baby, I think the heaviest thing shes hauled is 15 or 20 loaded grocery bags

I get bummed this time of year when I have to leave her in the garage for months on end. But with all the salt and crap on the road up here this time of year its best for her just to sit in the safe warm garage.

Just finished uploading a few more exhaust vids.

Here's one with the cherry bomb super turbos I had on it before. I like the way they sounded down low but when I revved it they'd get poppy and crappy sounding.

YouTube - 96 F150 with cherry bomb super turbos

Here is a drive a way shot with the cherry bombs, kinda surprised she didn't sound half bad in this one. Those mufflers really did suck though.

YouTube - 96 F150 Exhaust

This one is me driving it around with no mufflers or cats. Just five or six feet of pipe off the manifolds, dumping out behind the cap. This is from in the cab with the windows up and the rear windshield slid open.

YouTube - 1996 no exhaust

That's a nice looking rig. Don't see to many of the good ole XL work trucks in that nice of shape anymore. Is it sitting on the factory suspension or has it been lifted a little? Its got a nice stance to it.
