I bought a cam from my local store and I wanted to compare it to a stock cam. He said it was bigger than stock, but I wan to know how much. My new cam is .490 valve lift, .280 cam lift, lobe spread of 110 duration is 212 @.050" Any info will help. Thanks.
According to the Haynes manual, the stock cam lift is .253 intake/ .278 exhaust. With the rocker arm ratio of 1.73 that equals .438 intake/ .481 exhaust. They don't give the duration figures.
