Goodyear Wrangler MTII Tires??

So my tires are definitely starting to show some wear, and I've really been thinking hard about some new tires..

Guy on Craigslist has a set of Goodyear Wrangler MTII Tires with only 250 miles on them. He has them at a price that would buy me only 2 BFG's.

Anyone have these? What do you think of them?

I've never heard of these tires but I am a fan of Goodyear Tires.

Warning: I am biased because I used to work in a Goodyear Tire Factory and I got discounts

Yep these ones are the same exact size. I have 4" turbo-back exhaust, so I'm not so sure the road noise concerns me all that much.

How long have you had them? How are they in the snow/ice?

BTW Darin - I think it's a good thing that you worked there and saw how they were made and can still recommend them.

The government required tire test are rought on tires. All of goodyear's production tires go above and beyond the government minimums. Their development tires have to go even further than that.

Well I did some more looking. Like you said the MTII's are military tires, the US Military uses them on their humvees. I guess the Jeep guys really like them...

I'm wondering if they'll work with the 12.5 x 16.5 rims I already have.
