'40 and '41 are similar, and '42-'47 are pretty much the same.

Can you describe the grill?

Are the front fenders smooth, or do they have a rib in them on top?

Nothern Classic sells interior patch panels, as for the exterior, they are pretty simple to make yourself.

Ford Truck Parts and Repair Panels for your classic truck at Northern Classic Trucks

If you still have the grill can you send me some pics with a description, I might be interested since some of my bars are missing.

chaosracing, re: grille bars-- i have 2 sets, one is cheap tiawanese, was chromed, since rusted but metal is totally salvagable, only needing a fast bead blasting then paint. wouldn't chrome these, not THAT good of quality. these can be bought for about 125$ new(guessed on price), would sell for 25$. other set is identical in quality and condition to set on my truck.(see gallery 42 mh awd) these would be a bit pricey! i COULD be convinced to sell, but????? good luck with 1 tonner petey shoes

If you dont know which year it is, you can check it if you have the VIN-number.. Here is an easy conversion site. Good Luck!

wangshowz, will put some pictures together on grille bars, ok to e-mail direct to you? i can tell you that the (cheap) ones are NOT rusted through in any way, shape, or manor!!! the plating was very poor, and after 12 years on truck they simply peeled. all rust is purely surface and would clean up nicely. they are good candidates for paint, but i don't think they're worthy of chrome. do you have all the hardware to mount bars, or did they get trashed too? ps: i won't sell any goods without full disclosure and accurate description, i have no reason to screw someone for a couple of bucks, it's not worth it!!! pete
