slight surge and low power

I have an 88 BII 2.9 auto. Just changed the v cover gaskets and now it is kinda surging and seems to have less power under acceleration. Checked all vac. lines and wires all were ok. Anyone have any ideas before I dig into it?

bronco 2 hesataion and power loss

you have 2 fuel pumps in that bronco the one in the tank is the one that needs to be replaced of you are haveing problems accelerating and hesatation, check fuel preassure the one on the chassis is the primary pump the pump in the tank is the pick up pump...the pumps are the exact same so if you can go to a salvage yard and pick one up that would prob. fix the problem...hope it is the info you need

Lead Head is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.Lead Head is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Possibly a clogged fuel filter. Hook a pressure guage upto the valve on the fuel valve, should be around 35-40 PSI
