what to change next?

As many of you know I've been having prob's with my truck. Replaced the Inj. O-rings; CPS; IPR O-rings; now rebuilt my injectors to stage 1's. I know it takes a while for the oil to get purged but it ran good last night when ice cold and starts to lose power under load after it warms. good full clean oil. it doesn't like it when I floor the throttle. I'm gonna look at the TPS voltage tonight. Any other ideas? EOT sensor? I'm starting to get pissed! I know I need a chip for the new sticks but this symptom has been here a while

Thanks for the comeback TJ. One good thing-this truck doesn't like to quit. Does the vacuum pump have anything to do with engine controls? or does it just control brake boost and the heater valves? I've got a low vac (Brake light) issue also. I was able to limp in to work this morning. I couldn't get the voltage range read last night for the Throttle position sensor. I tweaked the Idle validation switch stop around this morning hoping to put the pot in a better range and it tripped a CEL code. I think I'm going to 1- get a code reader. 2- get an understanding of the TPS. 3-buy and install a single shot chip from Tony Wildman, boost gauge, pyrometer and EGT gauge. 4-go to the junkyard and get as much as I can vac pump, throttle, ICP, MAP, EOT, etc. and keep after this thing. one thing at a time

I think you have a fuel pressure/volume issue. how old is the filter? is the regulator screen clean? Fuel pressure at Idle? The symptoms you stated are pretty classic signs of fuel starvation.

That was my original thought too TJ. I've been thru the FPR a couple times. shimmed to 75 psi at idle. I'm thinkin' lift pump. I'm going to pick one up tonight and change it out on friday. I'll put a fresh filter in too. I'll let you know

Now that It wants more fuel with the new sticks it makes sense that a fuel starvation prob. would get worse.
