Question LT vrs Shorty .... Lt verse Extra Long Tube

Ok I know that long tube headers produce more torque then shorties. Im looking to get the most torque out of my 95 w/ 302. Its a woods truck so I need to power larger tires. I really like a set of hedmans for 174 on summit but was looking on jegs and saw hookers with two different length primarys. One had 27" primary's while the other had 32" same hedder same truck just different lenghts. I know tunable race headers are tuned by lengthening and shortening the primaries. How does lenght/shortening affect performance??? The longer the more torque and the shorter (shorties for ex) make more hp?? I guess my questions is what would the difference in power be between the 27" and the 32" primarys??? More torque or more hp??
