Well I got Ol'Red home today tomorrow I'll start cleaning his new used engine and paint it,Then I'll clean the engine bay and paint there before dropping in the engine.
Can you post some pics.??? Like....before and After.?
Tom I will be happy too. I'm going to go get some bolts for the engine stand. Once I get the engine on the stand I'll take pictures before, cleaning, and paint.

Well my engine was so full of gunk even oil couldn't get through the pushrods. Good part is it's never been rebuilt and had every little wear and crank and block is in great shape so it will be a easy rebuild.
I got the motor back last Monday.A friend came over and helped my youngest son put a shot block together. So next weekend we will get it finished up and get it put in the truck.I will post a picture of the engine once it's all together and in the truck. My digital camera can make small videos I will have my son make one with it running without the exhaust on.
