dual MC recommendations
hey everyone. i plan on using my stock pedal assemblies. im using a 302/T5 out of a mustang. i would like to upgrade to a dual mc. i would like to use the under the floor type. anyone have recommendation for this type of setup? pics of your own setups are obviously welcome. also kind of OT- what would i need to run a hydraulic clutch? or would it be easier to keep it mechanical? thanks for the help

The hydraulic clutch would be much simpler to rig than a mechanical linkage. You would need a hydraulic throwout bearing or slave cylinder whichever is easier to fit to your tranny. Since some T5s used hydraulic clutches you should be able to easily find the right setup. You would also need a clutch master cylinder of the right bore for your slave and a mount to mount it and pushrod to connect the pedal to the cylinder. IMHO you would be money ahead to purchase the whole conversion setup for the brakes and clutch from one supplier such as MP brakes. Get the boosted brake setup rather than the manual, your right leg and anyone else who drives your truck will thank you. Do it right the first time and you'll only have to do it once.

wow, i forgot i made this post and when i went to search for info before i made a new thread i noticed i already did. what a *******. anyway
AX- ive been looking at a midfifty setup, and vintageford.com has one as well. as far as the clutch goes, ive been looking around and 87-88 Tbird turbos came with a hydraulic clutch, would i need just the pilot bearing, the clutch mc, and slave cylinder? does anyone know anyone who has used a T5 with stock mechanical linkage? thanks in advance
