Turbo 300 six project going down the road

Hello everyone,

Well the turbo 300 six project has been very fun and I have learned so much in this whole project, however I have just purchased a 99 powerstroke and I need to get rid of some debt I acquired building this project. So unfortunately I need to sell it. I was thinking about $3500. What do you all think a good price to ask for this would be?

Thanks

This pretty much sums it up. I do have some pics that I will post

I have owned this pickup for 7 yrs. Four years ago I built a turbo kit using a Borg Warner turbo from a 6.5L GM diesel. I replaced the ECU with a megasquirt unit and dyno tuned the engine. Last year I did a full engine rebuild with custom made Wiseco pistons, Total Seal gapless rings, ARP fasteners, and balanced the rotating assembly. The current configuration makes 220HP and 435FtLbs. @3000 RPM. on pump gas. When ethanol is added to the fuel and boost is increased more power can easily be obtained, however I have it tuned for a reliable daily driver. Driving the vehicle without towing I get about 13-15 MPG. The drivetrain is in very good shape. In the time I have owned it, I rebuilt the x-fer case, transmission, front, and rear diffs, and all new axle joints and U-joints. Mechanically the pickup needs nothing. The only minor things it needs are. A new heater blend door cable, Cables on the seat that release the seat backs, A different set of speedometer gears as the speedo is 20% slow. The body is in average condition, the tailgate opens and closes fine, all the lights work. There are the typical chips and dings associated with using a pickup. There is one small portion of rust on the drivers side cab corner.
