In both 1951 and 1952 Ford offered two trim levels. The base was called a "5-Start Cab" and the deluxe was called a "5-Star Extra Cab". You'll commonly see the deluxe version incorrectly described as a 5-Star Cab. The deluxe option included additional chrome and stainless trim on the hood, windshield surround, and side wing windows. It also included dual horns, two tone seat upholstery, additional padding and insulation, two sun visors, arm rests, two door locks, locking gloove box door, dome light, and "bright metal hardware escutcheons". It's common to find the Magic Air heater on these trucks, but it could also be purchased with the base level trim package. My V8 truck came with that combination.
