I have a buddy that bought some land up in Clarion, right along the river. We've been camping up there the past couple of years but he's finally putting a cabin on it so I think my camping days up there are numbered. Plus I have a 6mo old son who I imagine wouldn't be too thrilled about "relaxing/camping". My 2 older boys (7 & 10) are all about it though, especially if I decide to load up the atv's... I also have a hunting camp up in Kettle Creek (near Potter County) that we go to quite a bit. My days of sleeping in the back of the truck or on the ground are pretty much over anymore.
I'm from AZ and have only been here a few years so I'm not sure of all the cool/secret places to go to.

Hey, I love camping. Any chance I get I am going somewhere. My favorite place is Kinzua dam area. My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon there. Every year on the third weekend of July me and some of my buddies have a "man camp" at Twin lakes campground. Looks like this year we won't be going there since the feds banned all wood brought into the Allegheny nat forest. We usually burn 1-2 truckloads of wood starting as soon as we get there thursday and continuing til sunday when we leave.
All my guys drive Ford trucks. Any ideas where we can go this year or if we can get around the feds law? I can't wait til spring!!!
The wife and I went to Petticote Junction campground http://www.pettecotejunction.com/
last year and really liked it. The owner is a Ford truck owner too. Check it out.
My wife and I do a lot of camping on the laural highlands hiking trail.
We also have done some canoue camping trips up near the Kinzua dam, we paddeled 45 miles down river and camped on the islands.
As far as drive up type camping .......when my wife designed campers for fleetwood we used to take a company camper once a year to a nice campground called pioneer park near where we live.
