And my second answer is - She pays for my PMS because I certainly have to pay for her PMS, if you know what I mean. If you ask me she is getting the better end of the deal.

Right on, I use to calibrate and run quality control for 6 impact crushers, 3 wash plants and 3 drum mix hot plants. I fired them up and shut them down once in a while, even climbed in the drum or bag house to replace parts. My favorite was when a loader operator was late or didnt show, I would run the CAT980 or CAT988F, that was the cool part of the job because I didnt have to run it all day. Only in a pinch and they were new to me. The hours did get old, 80-100 hours a week got old in about a years worth of time.
Got to love the smell of asphalt cooking at 320F

It can have its fun days, we just got bought out and we are hoping to get a new plant soon. We have an old 1950s model batch plant it isn't too fun chugging along at 200TPH :-p. I would love to run our nicer drum plants that are all computer operated ours are auto/manual controls so we don't just sit back and watch it. Your running your mix a little cool out there we run ours 330-350 on everything but D mix.
At leat you had some nice loaders heh we just got a 966F for the plant and an old 980 for our RAP proccessing crusher at the other end of the facilty.

I wish we could have big hours in the winter we are lucky if we don't get layed off. I am looking into being an electrician it seems to be good money and what little I have done seems to be enjoyable.
