You used some of our power sections if you worked for Halliburton. We build all of their directional drilling motors (mud motors).

I worked in the cement and tools department. I have had directional drillers on the rig using your motors. I worked in deepwater so most of the drilling is with mud motors.

Yep, that's one of the products we manufacture and is really what we are best known for. We (R&M Energy Systems) are the exclusive manufacturer of MMs for Haliburton, Schlumberger and Scientific Drilling and lots of smaller companies also.

Nolan, I attended the Defense Language Institute at the Presidio on the late 80s. I fell in love with the Monterey area and have dreamed many times of moving there... I just can't get my mid western mind around the cost of living in that area though. I just don't understand how normal people with normal jobs can actually afford to make that their home. I do envy you, what a place to wake up in everyday.

Full time farmer and part time ag repair shop operator. Recently spent a couple years in a Ford dealership parts room to help pay bills after the hog market went into the tank. That lead to an opportunity to do some contract work for John Deere doing warranty work around the country on diesel engines. That was an awesome short term job. Saw a lot of great country and met a lot of great people. You never know where life will lead you but you have to be willing to follow.

I work fulltime for Timesavers Inc. as a Lab Tech in training for Sales. We manufacture widebelt sanders for woodwoking and metal working. It pays the bills with a little left over for mods every now and then.

I'm a Navy Chief.

The money I save while I'm underway not driving Da Moose goes into the toy jar for future mods.

Hydraulic and pneumatic sales and service, control and automation systems. pretty much if somebody will pay me to do it, I will. Gotta be that way when you own your own company.

I've been self employed for 14 years now running a landscape maint. business. The cool thing is even though this truck still costs me money, it is my business vehicle and therefore tax deductable. So the more upgrades, the more deductions. I do this march through december and am off durring the long snowy northwest months. I spend this time fixing up my ranch which was established in 1910. I also help my wife in her business of breeding, training and selling Icelandic horses. Never a dull moment.

Paul

PS. Thanks to all you full and part time military for your awsome service to the rest of us. I was a navy brat for 20 years, and I know the commitment you and your families make for the common good.
