I've had a set of Black OEM fender flares sitting here for almost a year now. I was so busy during the year I only have "test fit" to see if I liked the black or was going to paint them to match the truck.

What do you think black or get them painted true blue to match the truck?

I'm thinking about adding some more black to the truck anyways.

I think black would look best. But as nice as that truck looks already, I can't see either color looking bad!

I would paint them. makes them look more like the fender instead of an after thought.

I go with painting them they would look better and not take away from the look of the truck the black just looks like you did not want to mess with it. And that is a great looking truck so I vote paint.

Like on this truck...I like them in black....I may do something like that, but with blue instead of red obviously.

I would paint them blue. That way they will match the door mouldings. Although, that red truck does look good.

I like 'em black, but I'm going through this stage right now where I hate anything chrome (not that the blue is chrome, just diggin' blacked out rigs these days)...

One question though, why put 'em on? I can't imagine they'll perform any protection or is this just something new to put on the truck? On or off, painted or black, it'll still look good!

Man I love that truck, so clean..

There isn't enough contrast between the blue and the black to make them look good if you leave them unpainted.

Just something new I got them on a trade from a customer that I sold some shock clamps to. He had a truck with the lower black two tone, so that's why they are black.
I've debated selling them as well.

I like the OEM flares on our F-150s, that's why I picked them up for the SD (I have 2 sets...the other for my 07).

I would like them blue. The black looks like you forgot something. I understand your quandry, they almost do fit in with the black on blackk wheels but not quite.

I have pondered that question myself because I too own a true blue sport and want to install fender flares. I think black would be better exspecially if you are keeping the truck mostly chrome free. My decision factor also lies with the possibility of having to paint the bumper skirting as well from the winch mount up front but seeing your truck with the black confirms that yep I'm going with black. And let me add that is one awesome looking truck you have there.

Your trucks looks badarse but it'd flow a little better if you had them done blue to match. Just my .02.
